We want to bring art history to life on your iPad.

Our editors take you on a virtual journey through the history of western art, from prehistoric sculpture to modern art, from the Venus of Willendorf to the Twittering Machine and so much more.

In this new iPad app, fifty most celebrated artworks in western art history are presented for you to learn and explore. These great masterpieces and stories are brought alive on the iPad to be studied and explored just as if you were in the museum with a curator. Each masterpiece has an audio guide, an insight essay, feature stories, related works as well as in depth analysis.

Our team at Lova Press are proud of the various interactivities in the app. Art History Interactive lets you see every side of the 3D Venus of Willendorf, explore the panorama of the Sistine Chapel, discover real-life scene from Monet’s garden and swipe through to discover the movement in Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night...

We made a video for this app, you can see it here:

Main Features:
★ Audio Guide + Insight Essay
Our app has much scholarly input to ensure the quality of content. Each masterpiece we selected has an audio guide as well as a companion essay. We hope you not only see a masterpiece, also understand it.

★ HD artwork
We used high definition images in this app so that you can zoom in to explore the very detail of the masterpiece.

★ Interactive Design
Our design team spent lots of time to make our app engaging. You can touch, scroll, pan, zoom, swipe, toggle with many interactive components.
(Highlight: you should definitely check out the interactive panorama view of Sistine Chapel!!!)

★ Videos & Historic Footages
We collected several rare footages of modern artists such as Renoir, Monet and Rodin. Also in the app we’ll guide you to the great videos from the owner of the masterpieces.

★ Closer Look & Feature Stories
Compare and comparison are great ways to learn, we also believe that to put knowledge in context is important for understanding. So we have included different “extension boxes” for our collections. For instance, we’ll show you the detail of “The School of Athens” by Raphael and explain who are the characters in the fresco; when we discuss “Venus of Urbino” by Titian, we will show you a series of paintings of the same subject from 1500s to 1900s.
